Session Information
Who: Each class consists of 4-5 students and 2 instructors.
What: Fun, engaging math lessons and activities.
When: Dates TBD - classes starting in early October.
Where: Wilmette Public Library, 1242 Wilmette Ave, Junior High Section (right outside the main elevator, photo attacted)
Why: Because it's fun!
Sample Session Topics
"Yes, Chef"
Learn how fractions are used in cooking. Work through serving sizes and recipes and solve the chef's quiz!
"What's Your Best Guess?"
Learn how to predict the future and make educated guesses using probabilities.
"Mathematical Masterpieces"
Learn how math plays a role in art. Using concepts such as ratios, perimeter and scale, you'll determine the outcome of the projects.
"Mathletes and Athletes"
Help solve sports-themed problems. Understand how math is present in every sport.
